He was Rameses in 10 Commandments. Charlton Heston was Moses.

I had a feeling this one would go pretty quickly!

Although popularly associated with the Moses story, many scholars agree Ramesses II was not "that" pharoah. Some scholarship suggests "Ramesses" was actually a title shared by several pharoahs.

Yul Brenner played lots of exotic men. What was his nationality? (No fair Googling that one!)

Hmmm, I don't recall his nationality. I'm going to just guess and throw one out for the hell of it... Was he from Siam? (I thought that would be ironic since he played the king of Siam in the Broadway version of the King & I).

He was a Russian.

Rameses was a title; I've heard that. :) Without going back to read Exodus now, wasn't he just called Pharaoh in the Bible? or was his name revealed?

Siam is a good a guess as any I would have come up with. Russian is correct. I read that his father was Swiss-Mongol mix and his mother was Russian. He was born in Russia.

I think the Bible says "Land of Goshen" and later "Land of Rameses" but it never pins down a name for the king of Egypt in the Moses story.
