Thou sayest well, Amy!
They say history is written by the victors, and the Tudors has no great love for Richard III. He has been villified and made into a murderous, conniving, deformed monster of a man over the centuries. There is, however, a Society dedicated to challenging the prevailing view of Richard.
It was more of an inquiry into the role of Richard III and Al Pacino's fascination with the character. Only certain scenes from the play are shown, with cuts to experts and some discussions. My guess is he didn't have the patience to act out the whole play and only wanted to do certain scenes. Interesting to watch, though. He fits well into the role.
Thanks to the Wayback Machine, we're currently working our way through "Hollywood history" from the Stone Age to the modern era--and beyond. I remembered to bring my camera, but I need your help identifying the people we meet and from what context they came (i.e., what show or movie they appeared in). Everyone is encouraged to participate.
