Gary Cooper won 3 Oscars - an honorary one late in his career, and 2 for Best Performance by an Actor, for High Noon and this one, Sergeant York. His performances always seemed so natural that he was the perfect actor for film.
Thanks to the Wayback Machine, we're currently working our way through "Hollywood history" from the Stone Age to the modern era--and beyond. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
