Radioland Murders -- Mary Stewart Masterson and Brian Benben.

He used to have a show on HBO called Dream On that I was hooked on. Mary S.M. was in Fried Green Tomatoes, but you know that already.

Nope. This movie was an unofficial "prequel" to American Graffiti and Curt Henderson is the son of the Hendersons in Radioland Murders.
