Maybe it's just the way blogs are. On my blog I have a few loyal friends that comment, but if they don't, my genius just sits there with no comments.

I think you're right that blogs are that way... people are more inclined to browse than to comment.

Maybe I need some greater incentive to encourage comments. I've seen sites where a blogger is both incompetent and confrontational at the same time, and that will usually pull dozens of comments. But I don't know, that seems like taking the low road.
