Yeah, this one is still going. It's from General Hospital. I don't know the actress, but the actor is John Bernadino, who played Dr. Steve Hardy.

Right, Jim! She's Nurse Jessie Brewer, played by Emily McLaughlin. 40 years sounds like a long time for a series, but the Internet tells me that the longest-running soap is Guiding Light, which started on NBC radio on January 25, 1937--it's turning seventy next Thursday.
