We have two TV shows to go before we return to movies, and they're both well remembered!

There were two shows about inept soldiers that premiered in 1964. One was No Time for Sergeants, based on the movie with Andy Griffith from six years before. This was the other.

Andy Griffith began his career playing Will Stockdale in No Time for Sergeants. He seemed to know that an offshoot of his Mayberry series could be funny.
