Jim got #938!

Fantastic Voyage. Raquel Welch is in the center. The men are less distinguishable - maybe Stephen Boyd on stage right.

I read somewhere that because Isaac Asimov's novelization was released before the movie, people erroneously believe the storyline was his idea. It wasn't; he didn't believe shrinking matter was achievable, and he saw the story as more fantasy than science fiction. I read some of his ponderous, multi-volume autobiography in high school and I didn't remember that.

Asimov was at his best when popularizing and explaining difficult scientific concepts. I tried, but I never could make it through his much admired Foundation Trilogy.
