Right, Jim! Ermey was perfect. I saw this movie once, 20 years ago, and his performance is still as fresh in my memory as if I saw it yesterday. I wish they'd built up the first half of the movie more, and dispensed with the second half altogether.

I agree, John. This film was schizophrenic - divided into two contrasting sections that didn't seem to go together.
