On Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In Lily Tomlin played young Edith Ann.

Thanks Jim! This show was filmed in beautiful downtown Burbank! I have a few episodes on DVD, but I'm not sure the humor would translate well to today's audience.

I preferred Ernestine to Edith Ann.

They had a brilliant cast and lots of funny, almost iconic characters, but I agree that their material would need to be modernized today.
